Mental health awareness and stigma reduction campaign.
eskimosoup tested and developed a campaign message that is to be marketed over a 12 month period through Hull from April 2012 to March 2013.
The campaign launched in May 2012 and is supported by a programme of activity including a dedicated social media marketing campaign through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as part of an integrated campaign.
One interactive feature is “The Big Picture” that enables Facebook users to tag friends in a campaign generator that positively reinforces the message that 1 in 4 of us will experience mental health problems in our lifetimes and that we would benefit from having someone to talk to.
The social media activity will be further reinforced with the use of locally made videos as well as best utilisation of existing materials from the national Time to Change campaign.
